Looks like ND is 13th on most free list. I grew up in MN and still spend many weekends there but my residence is in ND.

I knew California would be near the bottom. One more reason on the checklist to move.

Minnesota is 38th... So glad I live away from Minneapolis/St. Paul in small town farming communities.

I could have told you that Maryland would be bottom 5.

We're no longer in the bottom 5

I figured we'd be in the bottom 4 actually. I'd love to see it without the northeast corner in control. I so wish to see a 51st state or maybe a second DC, District of Chicago. Bunch of leeches controlling the state

For a state with a constitutional right to carry, Vermont really is screwing things up to come in 40th!

Heck, IL is trying to get back into the top 5. Currently starting to talk up and push a bill that would remove state control preemption of gun laws to give back to local jurisdictions creating a patchwork of differing gun laws and feature bans aka "assault weapon" ban.

When our CCW bill passed, any municipality that wished to ban the so named "assault weapon" had time to do so. A few tried and failed, the others already had one in place and kept it.

One is even trying to push individual serial numbers to the projectile of ammunition

We come under attack from out of state groups as much as our own corrupted errrr..... elected officials.

Just one more reason why NY state stinks. Where I live there is a 7% sales tax on everything but food. It's 8% in the neighboring county! I lose about 30-35% off the top in total income.

They tax the crap out of everything and require a license or certification to do anything.

In NY you need to take a hunters education class to be able to hunt and a bow hunters education class to be able to bow hunt.

The study is from 2014 since then in Mass there has been some major changes. Taxes have gone up and assault weapons ban of 94 reintroduced only with more restrictions than before. MA is becoming a welfare ****hole state.
