Yes, well over a dozen of us, but between work and the season being open, I suspect folks are 'occupied'.

It been a little slow thus far (northwest) near Mount Airy. I have one doe down for the year and have seen a few small bucks but no real shooters yet. The cold front moving through this week may get some bigger bucks moving.

had 2 come through this morning at 6:40. still to dark. then at 7:40 I had 2 does come in. I was going to take the first one but they came in down wind and the lead doe got a little nervous and wouldn't take the last 4 steps I needed. Had to wrap it up for a baseball game.

Can't seem to get my timing down. Got busted 2 of my last 3 hunts last year and then winded today.

Guess that's why they call it hunting.

Live and hunt private land in northern Johnston County, Zebulon. Haven't been able to hunt as much this year between work and college but still get out enough maintain my sanity! This past Saturday was the best hunt so far, temps dipped into the high 20s which got the big boys moving and following does.

Ooh I gotcha, you're north of 64. There are some nice bucks around these parts...at least a whole lot better than some surrounding counties. Been able to hunt much the past couple weeks? The bucks here have finally started to split apart from the bachelor group.
