Got em all out last night and took a group shot from all the ones I've found since I started in 2011. Surprisingly, I had almost the same number of sheds from each side.
First find this year in Minnesota.. it was pretty faded in color so looks to be from last year.. Still a shed though!!
These aren't from this year but just some good big woods sheds to get everyone geared UP!! Can't wait for my big 10 to drop!
Found this one during rifle season in WI on public land! Couple years old starting to crack. Scored 62 5/8 of whats left after the squirrels got to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is a shed that I have found and the buck was running the timber and curled back around other side was gone. Not sure where he dropped it since I have yet to find it. I just scored the antler and the gross on the antler is 74 0\8" and then net counting the 1 1/8" ab point it scores 71 6/8"
Got a pic after you pulled it out? Was that grass just eaten down by the deer or had it been mowed somehow missing the antler with the blades??
I'll never claim to be an expert shed hunter, but everyone gets lucky once in a while I guess. The pics don't do it justice, but it's 80 5/8" found last winter.........the one in my left hand.
It was just eaten down was the inside corner of a milo field, no mowing there. Wasn't as big as it looks maybe 60" or so. I don't have another pic though. Kinda funny it had just been laying in front of my face for over a year.
Makes me want to get out and start walking around. Just to look around at sign. I've only found one shed in my life here in NY and it was one side of a descent size 8 pointer.
