This is 80 acres of private land that I have access to. Landowner gave me the go ahead to do whatever I want within the timber and pasture. This place is over run with red cedars do you think thinning getting rid of some cedars and thinning/hinge cutting trees would be beneficial? I'm going to wait on plots till next year but maybe put out some throw n grow where the cedars have left the dirt bare. Looking for some ideas if yall could help. The big crop field to the south is corn this year and beans to the north. Also is there anything I could plant in somewhat marshy conditions that deer could benefit from? The bottom right field edge gets a lil swampy from the runoff and am thinking of putting a stand up in the corner. Suggestions please and thank you!!
