Two weeks in a row. Picked it up checking food plots and trail cams. Can't figure out where it's coming from. Anyone think or know that it's worse this year? Oh and says not to drain the blisters....no way I'm letting these things run their course. They are obnoxious as a blister but seem to take longer to heal as a scab. One more exposure and I'm going full sleeves in the heat of the summer.

Did you wear the same clothes, it could be on them... Zanfel over the counter cream works good also for the itch...

I wear a fitted long sleeve moisture wicking tee shirt and fitted pants every time I go into the woods. I wear the fitted pants under my jeans to keep me cool and keep ticks away. I treat them with permethrin. I NEVER go in the woods in the Summertime with a short sleeve shirt on. Why even take the risk of getting Poison oak/ivy or ticks on you.

Eat a new leaflet once a week with your cheerios in the morning for about seven weeks straight. Maybe have a dose of prednisone laying around just in case.

My wife can pull it up by her hands and never react to it. All I have to do is see it and I break out.

You aren't taking a dog with you are you? I used to get covered in it every time I went to the bayou in Louisiana. Turns out my Lab was rolling in it... then getting it all over me.

As long as you wipe it off with a wet cloth or towel within an hour of touching it, it should be enough to prevent getting the rash. After you wipe it off, put the cloth or towel in the wash and then take a shower. When I camp or walk through it when putting out feed/minerals I just use a few ice cubes from the beer cooler and some hand sanitizer and completely wipe down my arms and legs. I used to get a bad rash very easily, since I started wiping down shortly after contact I haven't had one since.

No dog. And I'm not wearing the same clothes either. Time for long sleeves.

Much like what Spear said...When I've been around it or think I have I take as cold of a shower as I can stand, as soon as I can, really washing my arms or exposed skin really well.

Troy, could it be on your utv/atv?

I've been allergic to tha stuff my entire life. The easiest way to get rid of the blisters and keep them from spreading is well let's just say painful. But it works. I've seen me do it! Take a butter knife(any knife will do just don't get to sharp) take the knife and scrape the blisters open. Then take a warm wet wash cloth and scrub( I mean SCRUB) almost grind it into the rash. Then simply poor bleach on the open blisters. Yes it burns like hell. But will be dried out by the next day.
