Here's some pics of my food plots so far this year.

Clover plot. Was cut the previous week to about 5-6 inches. It's really growing.

Couple different winter rye plots. To be tilled under later this summer before replanting in something else.

This is a new plot as I had rented it out the previous 4 years. It was planted a bit late so I tilled it just before planting to knock down the weeds a bit. It is planted in soybeans with a 12 foot wide border of sunflowers around the outer border.

Done! just in time for the rain.

Looks good Greg. Clover looks good too. Have you sprayed it with Cleth this year yet?

I'm thinking about planting a brassica mix.

I have not ever sprayed anything on the clover. I am trying the mow and fertilize tactic trying to get the clover to out grow the weeds.

Here's an update on a couple of my plots.

I went out Saturday morning and bought all the seed and fertilizer I will need for my fall plots.

I picked up this broadcast spreader a couple of weeks ago so I mowed my clover and spread some 0-0-60 on it today.

Here's how my soybeans look a week after spraying round up.

This pic was taken the same night that I sprayed the beans.

Thanks for the replies. So far we're having a great growing season and I'm getting excited about the up coming bow season.
