I planted my Apple Trees on May 3 and 9 out of the 10 have (had) blossoms. They are 5-7'ers from Wolfrath's Nursery. I took some pictures before I took them off this weekend. I am a first time apple tree planter and I'm pleased with how they look so far. One tree probably had 50 blossoms. Might have a pretty good crop of apples next year.

I have Dolgo, Haralson, and their Deer Candy hybrids in.

Please disregard the backdrop as some of that is cleaned up now. But still have a ways to go.

Good deal, have you had to haul any water back there after first planting or have you been getting enough rain?

Been getting enough rain so far. I can get to 5 of them. The other 5 will be tough to haul water for. We have clay that holds a lot of moisture for a long time. Often it holds too much.

Looking good. I got 9 from Burnt Ridge and they have been planted close to Green Bay for 2 weeks and all are budded. Very nice growing conditions so far. Dolgo and Whitney Crabs, Wolf River, Enterprise and Liberty Apples.

I have checked into the deer candy trees but have not yet pulled the trigger.

The ones I planted this year look good. Looks like I have 50 % mortality on last years trees.

No idea they were great all year. I will give them another week, hoping they are late bloomers but I doubt it.

That really sucks. That makes me be cautions getting too excited with this early success.
