So my plan for this year is to plant three 1/2 acre food plots. One will be a mixture of various clovers and alfalfa, one will be winter peas and oats, and the third will be a mixture of wheat, oats, peas, clover, vetch and chicory. Going to cut the fields in late July and spray glyshophate mixed with Antler King Plot Max in the areas where I plan on planting. Then 3 weeks later I will bust up the ground and disk the three areas that I am going to plant. Load a fresh set of batteries in the cameras, make final stand placements and stay outta there till season opens.

The check dates on all my seed we from early 2016 with expirations for 2017. I also got a couple of bags of Delta Ag seed coat. Figured its could not hurt right?

I will also do a few small kill plots that are a mixture of oats, rye and clover in a few staging areas.

Funny but I can't wait till July and August gets here so I can get this done. Excited to see who it all turns out. I did a soil sample in January and spread 2 tons of pelletized lime by hand in February and will put down some more when I plant.

That's a lot of work. Sounds like the deer in your neighborhood are going to have some good snacks!
