After hoping for several years to buy the 18 acres next door it finally happened this spring. Decided to try about 1/4 acre food plot first. The drought did a number on my first attempt ( and planted a bit early being so excited about the new property) so I tilled it under and replanted end of July (still a bit early) when we were expecting some rain. Didn't get as much rain as forecast but enough to keep it alive. Finally this past week "Isaac" gave us a good soaking and it's really taking off.

The first try seemed to be going well so I tilled up more for a total 1/3 acre August 15th and it's starting to come up.

Hope to enlarge it next year !

Part of it is Evolved Harvest® 7 Card Stud and part BioLogic Outfitter's Blend. (Triticale, oats, winter peas, clover, chickory, turnip, and radish )
