I have been after this particular property for the past 5 years. Has not been legally hunted in over 15 years except for the owner& a couple buddies 1 or 2 days a year during late muzzleloader season. The owner finally agreed to let me hunt it...exclusively. It's exactly 1000 acres, all connected. It's in a very well known area for trophy deer. The landowner is not a serious hunter & lives 3.5 hours away. I literally cannot wait to start scouting it! About 400 acres of timber, 6 ponds, several grown up hay field & an old coal mine are on the farm. I will post updates as I make progress with the property.

Man that is one beautiful looking piece. That is easily a $12,000 annual lease in a good area! I hope you keep us updated on your findings and successes!

Excellent find! I have thought for many years that learning to work with people i.e. landowners to gain access to prime properties is the most overlooked skill in hunting. Looks like you understand the concept! Good Luck. Can't wait to see how your project progresses.
