Gentlemen, im currently debating on whether to get some non camp colors on a new bow or keep it all camo. If I went went with custom colors, I would have red accents with a black bow. would having some red on my bow make a big difference when trying to stay hidden from game? Thank you!
Deer don't see color the way we do. Black is my favorite "camo" color. I have pink and blue strings on my hunting bow and only shot 9 animals/birds last year.
Deer see all the ultra violet colors and that looks like neon blue. Anything with the blues in it the deer can spot you from a mile away. They won't know what you are or what it is, but they can see you. Red isn't a big deal, neither is pink nor orange.
I always use fluorescent orange or green in my strings/fletching and never have a problem Don't worry about it.
Both of them don't! haha My buddy and I doubled up that day, we both have flo green threads on our bows
I have a black hoyt faktor, and it seemed like I saw more deer with it than I did my old camo bow! The color won't matter, as long as it's not a glossy, shiny tournament color
Thanks man for the input! That's what I'm wanting to do to my bow. Those strings look great. Love that green.
