I was just watching a video on Realtree Outdoors and wanted to say BHOD is better. Not to say RTOD doesn't shoot some good bucks but you see a shot, questionable location, and then someone holding the antlers. You hear them talk about all the hard work they put in scouting and sitting and then they say they're on a 5 day hunt with whoever outfitters in Pike Co. Illinois.

I just really want to thank the BHOD hunters and staff for keeping it real for fans and not giving unreal expectations to bow hunting. Man I can't wait for turkey season! Thanks again guys!

Man I can't agree with you more!! I know you still have to hunt and make the shot even with an outfitter, but the Outfitters puts them on really good deer. And he should if they are paying money, But that is NOT the reality for everyday hunters like you and I. It really makes you APPRECIATE what BHOD does!!

I recently rewatched this episode where Paul Morrison kills a giant. Great episode and I don't think the shows on cable offer that level of emotion.

on a 5 day hunt not much work can be put in with that short of time. they should word it that the outfitter put a lot of time in for us to shoot these nice deer. good job to the BHOD crew. been watching for the next episode any idea when we will see it?

I agree with you 100%!!! Love the bowhunt or die show and watch it all the time! I love it because it goes through the whole season starting with shed hunting and foodplots and right through to the harvest of the deer. Also this isn't one of those shows where you know they made a bad shot and they act like it was the perfect shot. Nothing worse than seeing a guy gut shoot a deer and then turn around and say "I smoked him!" You guys keep it real and the way that a show should be!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Yes, because they show the misses, the button bucks and the hardship that truly goes along with it. Not just the antlers and the kill shot ( the button buck wasn't a jab at Justin either, just one of those things that happens ). And those things make me excited to see a real show with bad shots sometimes and the aftermath of what happens when that occurs. REAL hunting.

Another nice thing is the down to earth people on the show. They're hunters just like all of us. I sent a note to one of the guys this year and congratulated him on taking his doe. He wrote back and said thanks and appreciated the support. I know we all wanna see big bucks killed but hey, sometimes they just don't show up and no other show will talk about those moments of just flat out tough hunting.

I do have one suggestion..................Justin needs to find Todd a class on how to pronounce names :poke:

    Can't wait for season 7!!!

I found one - it's called First Grade. Unfortunately Todd doesn't want to go back. He said the paste just doesn't taste the same as it used to.

Thanks for the support guys. We truly do appreciate it and can't thank everyone enough for watching the show. :tu:

You know, things just haven't been the same since the EPA made all those laws against lead based products! Thanks for the laugh!!!
