The killing fields begin on September 3rd here in northern Virginia. One month long early doe season. Full season begins Oct 1.
Southern Illinois. Planning on hunting private ground down here and public ground in Indiana this season. Will try to get a pic of my #1 Most Wanted posted ASAP.
Oklahoma here. I'm excited about this season! Picked up two new leases to go along with my families farm to hunt. I also have some great public places to hunt near me. Plus cant forget about my 4 acres that always holds deer.
Bump, just because we are too good to be at the bottom of the page. I hope to get cameras out this weekend. Plots are all in and we have been getting great rains and temps. Maybe the best position I have been in for food for several years. Clover and alfalfa also looking better than ever. Its nice to finally have a normal growing season here.
Scouted my tail off this year. We had a lot of springtime rain and from what I've seen, the local bucks are putting on better size than last year. Will hunt 90% of the time on public land with some smaller private land tracts here and there. Got back to the basics of back tension on my shooting and it made all the difference. Looking forward to some freedom in the woods.
