Welcome everybody. Name is Nolan and I will be hunting Missouri. Hoping for and buck and late season doe. Applied for a managed hunt which would give me another buck and doe tag.

Copperhead checking in. My name is Craig and I will be hunting North Carolina and Virginia mostly and maybe West Virginia. Below is the list and as people check in we can highlight the names so we know who's accounted for.

    Now let the fun begin!!

I am hopeful that I can account for at least 100 points. Never killed a buck over 100 with a bow but I want to break that this year.

Mitch (MIHOYT89) here checking in. I hunt southwest Michigan and a little northwest Indiana but I lost my Indiana property so just Michigan this year. I'm always good for a doe and knock on wood at least one buck. Can't wait to get to know everyone!

So since no one else is checking in here what kind of property to you guys hunt? Public? Private? Big? Small? And do you guys have deer picked out this year to try to go after? I hunt all private mostly small parcels from 5-150 acres combined I hunt 300-350 acres of private. I don't run a ton of cameras but do have a few out on a couple of my more productive properties I just have not had time to check them in a month or so due to a new addition to the family and work.

Congratulations on the new addition Mitch. I hunt private land. two 20 acre tracts. One in North Carolina and one in Virginia. I generally run about 10 cameras to cover the gambit.

I do have a number one prospect picked out but honestly I have rarely seen this deer in the daylight. Trying to put in a variety of small plots to see if I can draw him out. I have been focusing on NC this year because its closer. There is another prospect in Virginia but I swear he knows where the cameras are and only get blurry pics of him.

Congrats Mitch. I hunt our own 32 acres, my uncle's 140, another uncle's 360, and I got permission to hunt another uncle's farms. He has about 5 different ones that total in over 1,000 just by himself. But it's a far drive so I probably won't hunt it much. I will shoot anything over 120 as it's only my second year bowhunting (bean rifle since I was 6). I think I've counted about 11 bucks I've seen or had on camera that would reach that, so I'm pretty excited. [IMG][IMG] Ours and the 140 are next to each other and the 360 is across the road. I could walk to 90% of my stands in under 45 mins, and I'm a big, slow walker.

How much will everybody be able to hunt? I'll be out everyday after school until I turn 16 and get a job in late November. I'll still be out every chance I get after that. I also applied for a managed hunt which will give me a doe and buck tag on about 70 acres with 9 other hunters.

Hey guys, Tristan (victoryhunter) checking in. I hunt some really good public ground here in Maryland, about 12,000 acres, that has great trophy quality. Also the last week of September, I am headed to Nebraska for a week to hunt mule deer with my father on public land. I have a friend there that we will be hunting with us so we will have a guide, should be a good trip!

Pastorjim here (just Jim everyone) I'll be hunting my home state of Indiana and some in Ohio. If some of you wouldn't mind I would like to exchange phone numbers so we can update each other from the stand. Good luck everyone and be safe.

    Blessings. ...........Pastorjim

Thanks guys definitely a big change from one so s to two! Although there will be a little less time in the stand I've got a very understanding wife that tells me to go hunting! Also I've got no problem giving out my number but would prefer to do so in some sort of closed or private thread

Will checking in. I will be hunting north central Missouri this year. Saw a good buck last year and didn't get a shot hoping he stuck around! I should be able to get out and hunt every other weekend starting September 15th. Good luck fellas!

Reply to this if you want to be in a group message on here where we exchange numbers. If you don't want to just don't reply. I'll start it tomorrow or the next day to give people time to respond.
