Jason Topeka (NE, Kansas) 39 More fun facts: Colorado native Lifetime Hunt & Fish license holder in CO & KS. CCW Holder 3 Children - 2,5,8 Biggest harvest buck -178 3/8 First buck harvest: 1982 Last buck harvest: 2011 Opening Day: Sept 16 Last Day: December 31 Average buck harvested: 150s IT Professional - Salary, no minimum numbers hours required so I usually have lots of time to hunt. I will say we have well rounded team. Although we don't have a lot of teammates from what most would considered big buck states we do have a few from states I would classify as "Sleeper" states. Other then having a good time doing it, the most important thing is to put points on the board. Blanks will just kill a team! NO PRESURE!!! :p At first glance it would appear we have a number of "seasoned" hunters that have put some nice animals on the ground. That gets my blood pump'n.
Dang you out did everyone haha, looks like you have some good odds of putting down a good one. I don't have as impressive of a resume but I have been very fortunate to be on what Michigan calls good bucks every year typically around 130-140. This year i should have one that should be able to break out of that range a little bit.
Drawbackbowhunting checking in! Brad 27 Illinois Happily married for a little over a year Never had an unsuccessful season Really excited and wish you all the best of luck, a safe season, and a joyful time in the stand!
What ever! I know better! I've done my home work. You all aren't fooling me. There will not be any excuses on this team. hahahahah That goes for the rest of you. You know who you are! Get'r done!
I got my eye on Youngfart, I think he has a shoulder injury last year that prevented him from hunting the rest of the season. I bet he is looking for redemption! I know I am. Last year was not good for me, hot, drought, and lots of blue tongue in my area. I beat myself up pretty good. Bounced all over the place trying to get on a couple nice ones. Mentally I was not sound going into Nov.... And then blew my chance jacking around with the video cam on top of that. There will be none of that this year!
Hey Hey Hey I like the looks of the making of a winning team here! I'm from Edmonton Alberta and have the chance to fullfill my last accomplishment this season if I stay healthy. That is to fill my last dream buck scoring 200+inches, if not then it wasn't meant to be HA,HA,HA. I'm 58 ,drive truck for Sycrude Oil giant up here. Hunting time is a 5 day window, November 9,10,11,12,13 during the 1st rutt, then my prime time is a 3 day window at the start of 2nd pre rutt which will be for me November 29th ,30th & the 31st. This is when I see the biggest bucks during the locating faze. The smaller bucks are run down ,beat up and it's mostly the dominate bucks still kicking ***,and they also leave their properties now in search of unbred does. I have maybe 4 200+ bucks alive on 3 differnt acreages with the biggest property being 1/4 section and the smallest being 40 acres. I had 42 stands and have reduced it to 24 this year with 3 in kill spots if I can sit for the day. I've actually killed deer in all locations, it's just these 3, that I'm hoping Full Curl, High Tower,Tank & Double Dx4 make their fatal mistake! High Tower is alive as I captured him on my TC the other day in 2 different locations and in broad daylight. My next pull won't be till my 1st hunt in early September,so I'll find out then if they've made it. Still got to hang another TC and put in one more Raxx site on my 3rd property. Last year I tore my Rotator Cuff drawing on a bull moose on the 12th of November, so I've just been drawing my new bow comfortably @55lbs. I was going to up the poundage to 60 but I couldn't draw it, decided to keep it @55 and hunt the year out. I post almost daily during the season so you'll know what I'm up too. I'm all about team work and helping one another to better them selves. Hoping to make a few more lifelong friends here. I've had Shed ,Imyourhuckelberry, aka Will, and next year Virginiashadow hunt here with me, plus a few others. Rocky
Good to hear from you Rocky. I did remember seeing something about the shoulder problem last year. I am glad you are healthy. I really do think we have a winning team! I hope to be a part of that 200+ harvest. Virtually anyway! It is rare to see a 200" around here. I couldn't image having 4 different 200+ deer on my list at the same time! It's official, everyone shoot a doe and a button buck and Youngfart will do the rest!
Like Art says, we have them on camera but we still need them to accept a mercy arrow. I almost did early last year on September 18th on Double Dtx4 @ 13 yards,he decided not to follow the other 4 bucks and walk behind the bush covering him blindley. I had a 3inch window through the bush that I took and felt good about till I hit 2 branches that deflected my arrow. DoubleTx4 walked slowley away with out a flinch. Here he is,I love the demeanor he shows! http:// DDT W/4 Click to add description 21 0 0 Tags Add tag Sponsored Links Canadian Pardon Deadline! Get a Pardon Before the Legislation Deadline!
