Im in and ready to go, I got three weeks to open season cant wait.

lucky you! I have till oct 15 in mass, im dying to get out

 

Yeah In Pa it opens sept. 15th for doe only then the 29th for buck. Although I will be the camera man for the first sit. I hunt nj too and that opens the 8th I believe, so if I get real antsy ill head out to try and get a doe, its earn a buck until the 29th. Im pumped up!!

 

Were allowed one buck and one doe for entry right? might as well take a doe early!

 

Yeah one doe is counted so I really should try to get on the board early, maybe ill take off from work that first monday after the opener. Yeah thats sounds like a good plan.

 

Its going to be hard for me to harvest a mature buck with living in mass and taking 18 credits at school but I should definitely put points on the board

 

im in my season doesnt start till 0ct 1 so 1 more month

 

In....early doe season begins Sept 1, then the general bow season begins the first Sat in October I believe. My goal is to have a doe down by mid-September.

Massbow--no stress about a mature buck. Hunt when you can and have fun, that is the key to this contest. The other key is for everyone on the team to score, SOMETHING. That could be "just" killing a doe or a smaller buck. Points add up when everyone chips in.....

Yeah I agree no stress I hope to take a doe early just to contribute something then plan on taking my biggest buck ever, its gonna happen this year I can feel it.

I'm in, getting some rain as we speak, getting ready to head out and check cams. Hope to add to the points this year. I will be off Oct. 29th through Nov. 20th !!! should be good.

I am hoping to be off from Nov 1-Nov 16 or so.

 

FEB checkin in!! What's up Team 7, where is everybody from?
I know VS (let's KILL brother!) and Greg both get it done every year.
I hunt a small property in Wisconsin (Sept 15) and 2 nice spots in Illinois (Oct 1).
I have to travel 4,5 and 6 hours to hunt, but usually drop several deer per season. Including some nice bucks.
I can't wait to hit it again, lets Rock!
