Let me start off by saying that I do test product for GORE and am more than happy to be a catch all for questions and comments. While my particular specialty is Sitka Gear I can also be a wealth of knowledge for almost all things gear related. I have been Bowhunting for about 4 years now and have all but left the long guns in the closet to rust.. I look forward to getting to know you on this thread. I'm love bow hunting and have been doing it since I was a teen in the 70s. I mostly hunt mule deer in Utah. And now I am teaching archery to a bunch of youth: cub and boy scouts, my own kiddos and their cousins. I am finding that the girls in particular are showing an interest in it. Perhaps from pop culture role models such as the girl in Hunger Games, that red-haired girl in Disney's Brave, etc. I am getting ready for a big June expedition to Montana which will involve a lot of archery "clinics" for several kids. Anyway, nice to check out this site.

I've gun hunted pretty much my entire life. I've been looking at the site for a few weeks now and wanted to say hello! I will be hunting public land. I'm looking forward to some good times in the woods! Got my PSE Stinger 3G (sorry no mathews here) this week and I've been working on getting it set up. I already have a Gorrilla hang on stand and lone wolf sticks. I plan to have a Lone Wolf hangon by hunting season and maybe a climber.

Untill hunting season I guess I'll shoot a bunch of 3d and whatever else I can find.

My brother in law, who was supposed to introduce me to the sport over the last few seasons, fell ill and passed last April :( Now I am on my own. I haven't shot a bow in about 20 years and it was a recurve at that. I'll be buying my first compound bow in the next couple of weeks and spending LOTS of time in the backyard building my shot confidence.
