Lewis County is known for producing big deer. This property has seen very limited hunting pressure over the last 10 years when it was purchased. The property is very mountainous with around a 10 acre grass bottom which would make an excellent place for a late season food plot to draw in the deer. Lots of benches and saddles in the terrain offer many great hunting opportunities. An abandoned house in the grass bottom makes for a great place to gun hunt, as it’s been used in the past. Old logging roads also give this property decent accessibility. Some good animal trails coming in and out of the bottom. Two ponds in the grass bottom and watering holes have been dug into a few spots in the hills. There’s also a very swampy pond in the NW corner of the property. Almost no hunting pressure from the neighbors. About a 35 minute drive from nearby hotels and restaurants. 2014 spring turkey season dates are excluded from the lease and reserved for the landowners personal use. Food plots OK. Included is the camera, two Canon batteries, Canon battery charger, Canon video output cable, original owner’s manual, original box (if you want it, just a box really), one Sony HDV tape (to get you started and it is the only brand ever used in this camera), a Canon UV filter which has never been off the lens so the lens is perfect, an SD card pre-loaded with standard color presets, and a very nice KATA bag to put it all in.

This camera has been used on virtually all of my video work. It shoots broadcast quality HD video. I have used this camera for professional commercials and DVD footage for major companies in the hunting industry along with various church projects. It shoots amazing footage and gives you complete control over your picture. This is professional equipment, and better than current consumer grade units that sell for more money. I am simply making the move to solid state recording, so I am selling this unit and hoping that I don’t regret that decision. HDV tape media provides true uncompressed HD footage, unlike codecs built into newer HD cameras. HDV tape actually makes for a nice compact archive system as well, not requiring tons of hard drive redundancy.

The photos were taken with my cell phone. The flash makes it look dirty. This camera is clean and has general handling marks is all. I would grade this unit at a “Very Good ” to “Excellent –“ condition per how various equipment suppliers rate used gear.

I am going to go with this for a week, if it doesn’t sell it will go to ebay. Price is $900, face to face located in the Angola, Indiana area. $25 extra to ship it UPS insured within the lower 48 US.
