What's so good about the mathews safari?

    Just a simple question. It's the most expensive bow on the market that I've seen. But what exactly makes it worth $2,100? The only thing I see is an aluminum honey comb riser.

    The CNC machine takes twice as long to machine out the riser, has the machined grip, the cam system is beefed up and machined, limbs are beefed up.
    Now that we have the Halon and the Wake to look at in comparison it doesn't look that radical but 3 yrs ago , Pheeew big difference , not saying I'd shoot one, we had 2 in our shop over the course of 4 yrs, not exactly my favorite lol

    The safari is also 85#.
