    Hi Justin,

First off, welcome to the sight!

This is my first season using the Tactacam. I have the 2.0 version. I was able to pick it up for around 180.00 dollars when people were trying to clear their inventory for the new models. I use it only for bowhunting and utilize the stabilizer mount.

    Things I like about it:

    Like weight
    Waterproof
Easy to turn on and off
Decent footage for a 200 dollar camera
Ease of use with uploading SD card
    Good battery charge
Attaches to bows and gun in a variety of ways

    Things I don't like:

    Nothing so far

If you don't have a camera and want to try with an inexpensive camera the Tactacam 2.0 is definitely a great option. :tu:

I haven't used the TACTACAM but I have used a Go Pro in the past. The thing I don't like about my Go Pro, and from the footage I've seen it's the same with the TACTACAM, is the vibration when you shoot. It really blurs the image and it's kinda hard to see if you are getting the animal in frame as they are running. I also have a Sony Handycam I use for filming instead of the Go Pro.

Anyway that's just my 2 cents and experience with what I've used. If my Go Pro was my only camera, I would probably use it more.

I think it is a great camera for second angle at the deer. Worth the price if you ask me.

Great cam for the money. They have made some cool upgrades from the original model. The new model has a 5.0 zoom feature that is really nice.
