    Hey Everyone,

Cabela's Online Store - Quality Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Outdoor Gear

Thought I'd do a little product review. This is the stealth cam memory card reader. I picked one up off of amazon for like 14 bucks. Seems to be a pretty good investment so far. Below are the pros and cons. Any questions please let me know!

    Pros

    Very easy to use
    Inexpensive
    Works very well
Can save pictures in phone from the reader (if phone allows)
    Lightweight like a flashdrive
Works well with smart phones (android) and tablets
Can use USB port as well

    Cons

Cannot swipe through photos (if you can, I haven't figured out how)
Can only view photos, Cannot delete them

Overall: This little 14 dollar card reader is in my opinion worth the money. If you get the itch to see what's on your sd cards before you get home this is a great piece of technology to buy. I wish I had more function with it, but for the price I would definitely recommend it!

Out of 5 stars I would give it a sold 4. :tu:

I used to take a laptop or netbook in to the bush but no longer. I got a 4 in 1 connection kit from Hip Street that plugs right in to the charging port of my smart phone. The kit is half moon shaped......has no wires to break and can handle USB,SD, micro SD and android connection. I load all my trailcam files right onto the phone.

I have this same reader for iOS and it works great. I can swipe between photos as well. The days of lugging my laptop or tablet into the field with me are officially over.

Its the simple things in life that truly make us happy. I used mine last to check the camera in front of my stand while hunting it. I saw that the stand had gone cold so i moved to another location and manage to get a doe.

I also have the iOS version and it's worked flawlessly so far, definitely worth the money if you ask me!

Is there an app for android that allows to view pics and swipe? I thought Justin said on last episode there was an app but all that comes up in playstore is stealthcam remote, for use with the wireless models.

I have the iPhone version and it uses an app called I-easy drive. You can swipe and delete. Probably one of my favorite items.

If I recall , the iPhone card reader is double the coin of the android version here in Alberta.
