Look for a used Schrade 158 0t. The new ones are Chinese junk and are about $20.00. A made in USA used one will run about $45.00 - $60.00. I have an old one, it is high carbon steel and takes an edge real easy. schrade.jpg

Check out Mora knives on Amazon. Seem to hold an edge really well and are cheap.

I agree with elkguide, Mora's are cheap and work great. If you leave it on the gutpile as I am liable to do, its no big deal to replace it. I haven't seen one with a guthook, although they do make a separate gut hook. Honestly I have found that a simple disposable blade hook knife, or shingle knife, is superior to almost any guthook. It works great as a gut hook but also for cutting around legs and necks too. Costs a couple bucks and weighs very little, no need to sharpen it. Most of the guys who have seen me use it end up wanting one too.
