Never hunted out of a blind but now that my son is starting I think I'll give it a try so I can sit with him for first few sits. I would like to keep it under $200. I would leave it up for a month at a time I think. Gander had a decent one for $169 that I could stand and shoot out of. Just ordered 2 chairs so I'm a little ahead of myself.

I have a Rhino XP-1 and a double bull deluxe On my Rhino its broke 3 rods in one season. The company that bought Rhino would not honor the lifetime warranty on the blind. So I had to order 3 more rods at $20 each so $60 to fix after first season. Then they decreased their warranty to one year on their new blinds and upped their prices. I can't recommend a Rhino. I would recommend looking for the Double bull bullpen for around $200. Or one of the Barronetts. Lifetime warranty on their blinds.
I have ASAT reaper blind that I have used awhile. It has served me well for both deer and lopes. Had an amerstep and a double bull and honestly they both were ok too.
How do you like them so far? I just ordered one on amazon prime - Barronett big mike with the roof vents for a little over $120 delivered.
Make sure it is a double. Surprising how tight the can get when two bodies get in one, even one being a child.
recommend buying some better stakes. the longest Ive had a ground blind stay standing with the little tent stakes they supply is about two weeks before i started buying good stakes with the blind. It kinda sucks to have a brand new blind blow 1/2 mile, cross a fence then go another 1/2 mile and stop at another fence.
I just want to use it for when I hunt public land. I have a private lease with permanent tree stands so it wont be used there. If I get a couple of months out of it ill be happy
Ameristep Dog House is also a good blind. If your shooting vertical it may be a little short but I use a Crossbow. Had mine up on a rise, wind came up, found the blind about 500 yds from where it was staked down. Blind was not hurt one bit and found all the stakes but one.
Would a guy who’s 6’8” be able to shoot a compound bow? I might consider buying one for my buddy and let him put it on his farm, then I’d have a blind to hunt in.
I bought this Baronett blind via Amazon this past spring and love it. Under $200 and it's a taller blind so standing shots with a bow are good. The height inside was a big concern for me and I'm on 5' 9" and most blinds I found are only about 5' 5" or so inside standing height. So far it has worked very well and been pretty durable. Have had it up for at least 6 months in the field since mid March of this year and fading is minimal. Plenty of windows to shoot from. Even though the windows aren't zipper closures, I use some small binder clips if I want to have the openings a bit smaller or bigger. No zipper windows also mean less noise. Plenty of room for 2 people and gear to sit comfortable in and it keeps the majority of water out during rainy days. The Barronnet Big Mike is the one I’ve just bought and it’s 80 inches tall, I’m 6ft 5 so hoping it works for me. Good to know your is holding up nicely. Thanks
Ya 80" is the tallest I've found. Haven't found one with a sun roof yet though :-) Hope it works for ya!
I would say it's one of the better options. With that said their always updating the ground blinds for bigger guys and longer ATA bows
