I've been using dead ringer rampage 3 and 2 blades. They don't make a huge hole on the outside, but they do a ton of damage inside. We field dressed my buck last year and his lungs were both split in half, so yeah, I would recommend them.
I've tried a bunch of em including muzzys they all worked but about 6 yrs ago I tried NAP spitfires and haven't looked back I believe they are the best deer broadhead there is awesome penetration and blood trails
I'm shooting Swhacker 100grain right now. I have some Muzzy 125 I thought about going back too. How do you like the Muzzy 3 blade? Do they preform and fly well? PROMOTED!!!!!!
Shooting spitfire 100 grains. I love them, but I had one fail to opens for the first time this year. I think it was a combination of extra tight springs, and the freezing rain I was hunting in.
tried Muzzy 3 blade 125's when I first got back into bow hunting last year... couldn't get them to fly right, shop recommended shocker 2's... been using em ever sence...
You will love the Tricks. No need to shoot the soft spongy expandables any more. My tricks are grouping right on top of my field points right out to 50 yds. Haven't checked further distances but no worries. Tricks are the baddest a$$ broadhead PERIOD.
My preference is the German Kinetics. I also shoot Slick Tricks when I don't feel wealthy. Had consistency issues with Muzzy heads.
This year was my first year shooting the NAP Killzones and was impressed.. was looking into the G5's.. anyone use them?
I use G5 Montec and NAP Killzones myself. 100g. They shoot straight and get the job done. I like the Montec's because they are easy to resharpen and I'm fortunate to get a lot of shots during spring turkey.
Slick Trick standards. Love them. Tune easy fly great to 60 (at least) tough as hell and are inexpensive. Not hard to find for $7 a head. $8 at most.
Antler Geeks on youtube do some good broadhead tests. They punish them way past anything that would be encountered in a hunting situation.
