I'm looking for a nice backpack that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I want one that has the ability to carry my bow, but I'm not sure of which to with. I don't want to spend a ton but I don't want something that will break before the season is over. Any thoughts on what kind of pack to get?
I've been contemplating the badlands super day. There's a used one for sale on AT for a $100. They have a lifetime warranty but I don't know if it's transferable.
I have the same pack and its awesome. Plenty of room for whatever you need. As far as warranty you are still able to use it. On the website it says "We could care less if you bought it at a garage sale or a gear swap, as long as it says Badlands, it's covered"
I have the Badlands Source pack and like except for the bino harness part. The elastic straps make it difficult to carry anything heavy so if you want to attach a bow to it I probably wouldn't recommend it. Additionally if you like to hunt in a treestand and still wear your binos, you have to keep the pack on which doesn't work. However I just ordered the Game Plan 3 in 1 pack last night and Amazon has it on sale for $40. I think you should be able to attach a bow to it fairly easy. I would do it opposite. This my setup from last year and it work well. I laid the sticks flat and the put the bag on top of it and put the straps over the teeth section of the stand. I then took the waist strap and wrapped it around the stand and clipped it in. Once that was done I used the rubber strap from LW to go around the stand and pack as added protection to keep it in place.
Also I will be using the customer service here soon before the season because i destroyed my waist buckle by accidentally shutting it in my tailgate.
Alps Outdoorz packs are pretty solid and priced fairly reasonably. Eberlestock makes some great packs but are a little on the higher end of pricing.
Alps Pursuit X is a nice pack reasonably priced. has outside connectors I use for my quiver and 3-legged stool. also has the ability to strap the bow to it.

@bronson I used the Tenzing 1200 for turkey this year. It's way to small for anything but turkey for me but I was very impressed with the quality of the bag, and would recommend it for anyone need a very small warm weather day pack. Other then that bag I use a kuiu icon pro 3200 which cost 4 million dollars but Is amazing for larger things.
I have the small day pack. the 1250 I think. I just got it this summer. it looks and feels like it is very well made. this one fits a lot of gear in it. cant wait to try it out, its super comfortable. I cant wear those back pack ones anymore, I like the bag around my waist more, the shoulder straps are nice you can clip things to them. good luck, I hope you find a good pack too man. its important.
Wife bought the Cabela's bow pack Christmas 2015. Have not used yet but looking forward to using this season. protects the bow well but seams just a little heavy. Has hydro pack as well. Was a good by on sale.
