As some may have seen some coverage of the ATA show on the Cheap Shot broadheads, I went ahead and ordered some for kicks and giggles. At $1 a piece, what the heck. Broadheads are a little bigger than I anticipated, I ordered the 100 gr. Edge at the tip has something there and the serrated edges feel even sharper, but not in comparision to a steel broadhead as we all know them to be. The broadhead would cut a rubber band, but not super easy. Broadhead flew good (at 15 yds) and spin tested good. Arrow penetrated with about 1 ft sticking out the back of a layered foam Black Hole target. After about 4 shots, the serrated edge was worn but still felt enough as though it could cut you, I didn't volunteer. All in all, this broadhead would kill and is definitely a one shot throw away use. Bow used was a Carbon Spyder 34 at 72 lbs and 29" draw. Arrow was an Easton Axis 330 cut to 28" for a total arrow weight of 430 grs.
