Finally out of college and got a job. Never hunted with a range finder but may want to get one now that I can spend a little bit of money but I do not want to just blow my money. What would a decent range finder run me and what brands should I stay away from? Whats a decent cheap range finder?

I'm happy with the new Nikon 7i. They are in the $260 - $300 range.

If I were buying today I'd probably spend more, $450, and get the Sig Sauer Kilo 2000.

I have been using a Nikon (Pro Staff 3) for a few years and love it. Bright, easy to use, reasonable price.
