I don't have first hand experience using these BHs but would recommend you do your research. I've read several different reviews on the toxic. One is that they can be loud whistling when you shoot them. This will vary from setup to setup. Not sure what you currently are using. Another thing I've read is that they don't exactly cut through the animal, more of a punch through and create a hole. I've never used them, so I'd do some research. I've also read mixed reviews on how well they fly. If you do use them, make sure you test them out before shooting at an animal. JMHO. I would also suggest looking at other options and decide what you like best.

Here are some I've looked at and considered for fixed blade. Like I said JMHO. Good luck at whatever you use! :tu:

    Slick Tricks
    QAD Exodus
    G5 Montecs
    NAP Thunderheads and Hellrazor.

Thanks for your advice and yes I always do my homework. I've read mostly good stuff about them and they are inexpensive enough to buy some and test them before taking them into the field. I'll be shooting them out of a wicked ridge invader.

So I tested the toxics out and they are not on with my field points. I shot a bolt with 4" vanes and a bolt with 3 " vanes. Both at 20yds and 30 yds. The 4" vanes were more accurate at both distances but still not on with my field tips.

They are a 1 and done BH. When they first came out they were even worse but they altered the design since 2013. I have killed a doe at 25 yrds with them and it was ridiculous. I didn't need to look down, just ahead to find blood. But.... You need to replace the blades every time you hit anything. Target or deer

I shot a doe with one at 17 yards a few years ago, while she didn't go far, the blood trail was absolutely terrible. I center punched her heart and she fell within sight. Haven't used them since.

Not good for penetration, they kill but like said before you have to change blades constantly and you better be shooting high poundage or no 2nd hole !

For those of you who have commented about dulling blades, do you always re-use your broadheads after they have been used on a deer?

Personally I never use a broadhead twice if its been used on game.

Shot two deer last year with the same G5 montec CS. Second one was a quarter away shot that hit the opposite shoulder. Got broke off when he ran and didnt find it or else it would be my killing another this year

I have reused BH's before but after a deer I usually put them in the small game pile.... But my problem wasn't using them on multiple deer but target then deer...I personally can't afford to replace blades after every shot

I love them and never have had a problem. They leave gaping holes and I have never had a deer go more than 30 yards after shooting one with them. No problems with whistling or penetration.

Way too much cutting surface for me, pass. Far better options out there IMO

Had tremendous success with them. I used them this past season sticking 2 deer and a yote, none of which went far. Painted the woods red each time. They fly very true to my field points, so I can hunt with confidence as far as their accuracy is concerned. No whistling ever. They do leave a gaping hole which Causes the rapid blood loss. Deer can clot up quickly if shot with a traditional broad head that simply slices through the meat. Be prepared for very short, very red blood trails!

I also have used G5 Montec and have had success with using the same broadhead on multiple deer. As far as fixed blades go, I'd definitely recommend them to anybody.

But, as far as Toxic Broadheads go, what I've heard is several people having issues with penetration with them, especially if you make a marginal shot or come into contact with even slight bone. Not to mention, there's no way to resharpen them as others have said.

Deer Maybe. Not good on hogs. To much surface area. IMO

To many better BH out there. Muzzy, Slicktrick, Wasp.

I got toxic bh last bow season and had two bucks come under me and I made two good shots on both deer one of the deer did not have a blood trail at all and the other on only had little drops every 10 to 20 yards if I would not have heard the second one drop I would not have found it and the one without a blood trail ran off and I could not find it I would recommend using a G5 montec or thunderhead bh
