    I would also like to hear also. When I went and shot the halon the shop did not have an htx in yet.

    I've shot it. It didn't seem as smooth as the HTR to me. I'd buy the Halon or the HTR before I would buy the HTX. My two cents anyway....

    The HTX draws the same as the HTR to me. Difference is the ATA and the HTX is a little faster if that matters to you. I do not mind the shorter ATA coming from a Z7Extreme. My son went from a Z7Magnum to the HTR. He liked the longer ATA of the HTR better than the HTX. Both are great bows. If possible shoot both and decide. I bought the HTX and couldn't be happier.
