The Muddy sticks are nice with the steps on both sides, but they're too short at 20". I have the LW sticks (32") and love them. I use my LW climber most of the time though.

I have 3 of the lone wolf sticks and like them. With 3 of them spaced out I can get up to about 17-18 feet. Most of the time I put them pretty close together and sit about 14 feet though in a group of trees. I did look at the Muddy sticks awhile back and didn't really like the rope stype. Seemed like too much of a hassel. The lone wolf sticks you can just wrap around tree and put the loop on and tighten up. Quick and quite.

From my experience this is just the opposite. The rope is much faster and quieter. And most importantly its not a "3 hand" operation.

That and the ropes are more abrasion resistant. The are not nearly susceptible to cuts. Alot of guys mod their LW sticks with ropes, including me!

Love the rope system. I would much rather that over a pull strap style

I have the 20" muddy sticks all modified with rope loops for an additional light weight step. I get as high as I want with 4 steps.

I think that recall was from a couple of years ago. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

I found a great deal on 4 muddy sticks, but just realized they were the 21" ones. Can you buy one more separate anywhere?
