I use the "can" during the rut to see if there are any bucks in the area. I have never spooked anything with it yet so I'd say it helps.

I've had decent luck. I killed a good 8 point the season before last using one. I hadn't been in the stand 10 minutes. Hit it about 4 times, about 30 seconds later he came out of the brush wide open....lol

Nice! I've got a can and was just thinking if the bucks are still searching then maybe it could help... guess it can't hurt

I believe the smaller of the "can" series resembles a fawn bleat more than a doe bleat. May not be as useful during late season when most of the fawn and doe are hurdled up together. IMO

I've got both the Primos can and a Knight & Hale one. The primos is what I've had better luck it. It does sound better.

I've only had success with a doe bleat early in the year well before rut. Have called other does in, probably out of curiosity.

They work. (Fawn Bleat) Its early season though. Once mama doe kicks off the fawns to be on there own. She won't come in. Its a fast action thing. Be ready. When they come in, they come hard and fast. You'll hear em' coming. Once they don't see anything they take back off, just as fast.

I have used the Primos can and fawn-in-distress with great success. One caution: do not leave the Can in your pocket when you launder your hunting calls. I have wrecked two that way over the years. Fortunately, they are cheap calls.
