Stealth Cam Core?

Does anyone run the Stealth Cam Core 3.0MP?

There is a good deal on FB right now for a Camo Core Stealth Cam for $44.99?

Worth grabbing one?

 

$10 shipping.....

 

For only 3MP... Not for me.

 

I'm wondering the same. I'm guessing they aren't worth the effort.

 

I got 2 of the black ones this summer when they had the same deal. For the price they're very good cameras. I got both of them for $81 with tax and shipping. Can't beat the price if you're on a tight budget

 

I figured id give it a try, ended up getting one...shipping sucked but we shall see how well they work for $50

 

I'll only buy their G-Series.

 

Is this because you have used the others and had issues?

 

Well the core-cam from stealth showed up in the mail....I feel like its a '1998 refurb the way its built. Im going to experiment and leave the cam out until batteries are completely dead and then check picture quality for myself. May end up using this camera strictly for home use now that Ive held it and played with it.

 

My Black Ops chewed through batteries like no one's business. I've heard much the same for all pre G series.

 

Most reviews I read on the Core were complaints on batt life, I really like the life on my G42NG so they must have found the issue.

 

Yeah, the G-series were rebuilt from the ground up. They are also built in a different facility. They are leaps and bounds above other Stealth Cam models.

 

Ground up is right, couldn't beleive the difference between the 2. The Battery tray alone was a huge upgrade.

 

I have one...if you haven't ordered it....Don't! LOL. If your just wanting pictures it's ok, but no clear and has no range whatsoever. I still use my to check trails...but pic quality is horrible.
