Rage 2 blade vs Slick Trick Mag

    I have been using the Rage 2 blade for a few years and I love them, but they seem to whistle in flight. I picked up some Slick Tricks and they are super quite. I am thinking about switching to the Slicks for the upcoming season and was wondering if any one has any experience with the Slicks. I shoot a PSE Axe at 60 pounds with a 27 inch draw and Gold Tip velocity arrows.

    Easy choice for me...I would never use a Rage again. I shot 2 deer with Rages and learned my lesson. FWIW - QAD Exodus is both my quivers this again fall.

    Killed 4 deer last year using rage. 3 out of 4 where pass thru shots. One quartering away at 30 yds. Went in behind last rib, cam out center chest. It's all about shot placement in my opinion and you have to shoot something you have confidence in.

    Slick Tricks are all I've used for almost 8 years. Never had a complaint.

    I'm a fan of my slick trick magnums....gonna be trying out single bevel DRT heads this week now that they replaced the initial ones that didn't fit GT arrows properly.

    Slicks will tip my arrows opening day for sure on arrow #1
