After some thought I decided to go ahead a spend the extra few bones and get the Mathews edition QAD HDX. After looking at the two side by side in the archery shop, it turns out there are a few nice features that enhance the fit. So far really happy with it. It is much more quiet than my previous QAD hunter. See attached pics.
