which one of these stands would you choose AHOII.jpg muddy hunter.jpg for a portable set up on public ground both weigh the same, also which sticks the new 32" muddy sticks or lone wolf sticks? Im looking for a mobile set up and I dont want a climber. I live in mass and I dont want to have to look for a limbless tree The stands are the lone wolf alpha 2 or the muddy hunter.

Either one of those is a good choice, both well made and solid in the tree. I prefer the base of the Lone Wolf a little better, but out of those two I'd say which ever one costs less since they are both quality stands!

Yup. Both are good, but I love my Lone Wolf stands. Hard to beat how solid and quiet they are.

I use a muddy vantage because I got a great deal on it otherwise I'd own a lone wolf. I use lone wolf stick and the are awesome!

Lone Wolf Alpha II and Lone Wolf Sticks. I am buying the same one for my out of state hunts.

That's what I use, nice and lightweight and I can get up in a tree faster with this than I can a climber!

I would probably say the Lone Wolf. I am a big fan and believer in the cast platform. If made in the USA is important to you, look at lone wolf. Check your local craigslist frequently and you can find some good deals. I recently missed a LW assault, but there is a bloodsport up for $175 in my area. Plenty of good deals out there to be had.

I own both. They are both quality, but I prefer the Lone Wolf's. I do have several Muddy stands that I use for pre-hung sets simply because I got them for cheap. For run and gun hunting though the Lone Wolf's are quieter and lighter. The short Muddy sticks are about the same weight but you need 5 of them to get to the same height as 4 LW's.
