I am thinking about buying these and I have a couple questions about them.
Are they "field point accurate"? Do they sometimes not deploy?

You will not be disappointed. I shot these for (2) years and they never failed. They are the best mechanical I have ever shot. I only switched because I wanted to go back to a fixed head.

I have heard nothing but good things about them.

Exactly what he said^^^^^...I have shot them for a while now. Love them. There is no way they won't open, fly perfect and penetrate very well. I shoot the 125gr. 2.25" outta my PSE Revenge and the 100gr. 2" outta my Hoyt Faktor. Some nasty blood trails too.
