Hello Fellow bowhunters! I am looking at upgrading my quiver, as my current one is a two-piece which does not attach from the bow. I don't really like this because it is nice to take off my quiver/arrows when I get to a tree stand or ground blind. I am wondering what quiver you chose and why? I am looking for a 3 to 5 arrow quiver. Thanks guys!
I got a bohning 3 arrow quiver last year and love it easy to put on or off i too take it off when in the stand
I like the mathews quivers alot the new ct 4 arrow is awesome and it comes with 3 plates and a blade guard and it attaches to the riser not the sight and keeps the nocks off the ground and the bow more level in hand. My second choice is g5 magloc they also mount to the riser and there very durable or also tightspot quiver you can mount this to the riser if you buy the g5 riser mount bracket.
I have had the mathews removeable quiver and the AXT carbon helix quiver. I would highly recommend both. I really like the twist off design. It's very quick, very easy, and most importantly, very quiet.
I bought my bow from a co-worker. It has a Matthews 6 arrow quiver on it now, at least i think it is a Matthews, its a matthews bow. The guard attaches to the upper part of the riser and the par thtat holds the saft mounts lower. I really like how easy it is to get arrows in and out, but I want one that detaches. I would definitely be willing to part with it! I can post pictures up soon as well.
I would go with the mathews detachable quiver they are kinda pricy but worth it i think. And if you dont wanna spend that much id look into the g5 maglocs or tightspots there really nice and theyll mount to the riser if thats what your looking for i personally dont like my quiver mounted to my sight plus with my dovevtail sight i cant mount one it all depends on the sight to some you cant mount a quiver to like mine.
I have the Mathews t5 Quiver on one bow and I am trying a TightSpot quiver on the other this year. I have heard nothing but Great things about them.
I looked at the tightspot and two G5 quivers yesterday at Sportsman's Warehouse. They look nice, although it is unclear of how to mount them from the packaging. When ya'll are saying "mounts to the sight", are you meaning that it uses the same screw holes on the riser, or that it actually mounts to a part on your sight? Thanks!
No. If you look at your sight bracket you will see two threaded holes behind the mounting holes. This is where the quiver will mount.
I have a Mathews T5 and a Mathews CT4 coming (they didn't stock one in black). I don't see how I could be any happier. Mounts to the riser. Very light weight. Silent on/off. Arrows in/out easily and silent. Adjustable height. Made in USA.
No they don't we sell them at the shop I work at the new g5 magloc mounts to the riser not the magloc halo you'll need the quiver bracket for the halo and the g5 bracket will work on the tightspot I install them all the time now with the tightspot ever since draves archery showed it on youtube the bracket is 35 to 40 bucks
Look at it on YouTube and look at the new maglocs on Ebay with the straight titanium arm it's a riser mount. You can buy just the bracket at dravesarchery.com just type in g5 quiver bracket. Itll work on all maglocs and on tightspot so far.
