I'm looking for suggestions on a good adjustable single pin sight. From everything I've read it seems like most folks suggest HHA. Any other suggestions? I appreciate the input!
I have a CBE Tek Hybrid as well as a HHA. The CEB Tek Hybrid is a great sight. I prefer the HHA. The CBE comes with a light and the HHA doesn't. It is built like a tank. It takes a little getting use to adjust the yardage. Meaning you have to leave the locking tab semi-secured to adjust the yardage in a hurry if needed. This is necessary on the HHA as well. This will not be an issue if you set the sight to 25 yards and only adjust it for longer shots if needed. The pin is not very bright, but the light is always there if needed and it is "low glow" and does a great job illuminating the pin. There are some more good ones on the market. Do search on Single Pin sights and read reviews when you can.
I'll throw in a vote for the HHA. I spent a few hours yesterday getting mine dialed in and I love it. Very simple to use, very bright pin, and built like a tank right here in the USA.
HHA, CBE, MBG, and the Trophy Ridge React One. have toyed with them and it's personal preference but they are all good quality sights.
I appreciate all the input everyone. Yes, I've been looking at them all and I'm starting to lean towards the HHA. Seems like there is a lot of information out there on them and it all seems to be pretty positive.
You really can't go wrong with HHA, I am sure Spot Hogg and a few others make quality single pi sights....I've just had HHA on everything I've owned....and never had any issues
Single pins....HHA and MGB have the best pin brightness and housings... CBE makes a nicer sight then them but doesn't have as bright pins... Some HHA can be a real pain in to mount a quiver...another consideration. Spot Hoggs are really well built but weight a lot... Could be a bit more user friendly. I have owned all these over the few years and they all have there positives and negatives ...handle them and see what you like. Another sight worth looking at is a Copper John Mark IV ...if you on a budget I think it's the nicest single pin slider on the market. The pins and housing are super and even adding the third axis they are way cheaper then the others...
Thanks everyone for the input. I ended up going with the single pin Boss Hogg. Found a pretty good deal on it and I've never read anything negative on them other than the weight which I don't believe will impact me very much. Working on putting it on this afternoon.
