Winners Choice Strings

Question for all those who have Winners Choice Strings? What is the turn around time when you ordered your strings?

 

Right now at my shop we are running 1 week to a week and a half on customer orders.

 

so within a week to a week and a half they arrive?

 

Shoot them an email and ask what there current turn around time is.
All depends on how many orders they currently have penned in the books.

 

I have been speaking with them a lot and I don't want to overstay my welcome. Also just seeing what other's experience is.

 

Vapor trail is like 3 days

 

There is a reason why they are only 3 days

I waited 3 weeks for mine last year when I ordered them for my old bow

So true, the last set I ordered for a customer's bow were a mess...Ended up taking me about 3 times as long to tune that bow as it does when I use one of my normal string builders...Lengths were a mess, cables built way long, I couldn't tell you the number of twists and adjustments I had to do and the number of times I had that bow in the press & draw board before I finally got it right...Not to mention I had to put all the speed nocks on it too. IMHO Winner's Choice is about 1 notch above Vapor Trail, and that ain't saying much...

 

What issues have you had with Winners Choice?

 

Their lengths have never been perfect , so I've always had to do some tuning to get timing and stuff exactly right... Normally they are better than Vapor Trail though. I prefer custom built over mass produced strings ... I've got a couple builders I use and I know when I set a bow up with them at most I might have to put 1-2 twists in a string/cable and that's it.

Weird. I am rebuilding 5-10 bows a week right now and am not having a single issue with Winners Choice nor have I for the previous 5+ years.

 

I haven't used Winners Choice in a while, I use tried too in the past but wasn't much at all. I agree with the mass produced stuff. I guess some have better luck with them.

 

Ok so are we all in concensus that winners choice strings take 1 to 1.5 weeks to be at your door?

 

I would try a custom builder. There is one on this site that I've bought strings from and they are awesome. www.bowstringdepot.com

Couldn't agree more! Faster turn around time and far superior! Great strings for great prices and he backs his work! Can't go wrong, love mine!
