i have no way to shoot an elite up here, but have always been a sucker for binary cams. i hear lots of good things about them and they have some awesome claims. i was just curious if they are all they are cracked up to be. pics are always welcome from the proud elite owners. :moose:

Yes. Yes sir they are. The new Energy bows will be the bows to beat this year hands down. Smoothest deadest bow I've shot to date. I'm as impressed with them as I was the Prime Impact last year and I thought another bow couldn't beat it.

I owned an 2011 Hunter and Pulse, I sold the 11 Hunter and bought 2013 Hunter.

The Hunter no matter what year you get is going to be a very easy shooting bow, it's smooth though out the draw cycle and with the stops adjusted has high let off. The backwall is solid.
You said the Hunter was for your wife, just an assumption that she has shorter draw length, all the Hunter models had cam for short draws, they are nicer then the standard draw cam. Try to get a 2013 model Hunter if you can, said a 12 for about 300-325 would be deal.

I owned two Pulses, still own one. I have a love hate with the Pulse. It's a shooter, little stiff upfront but smooth and solid back wall, valley is big but not huge. It a bow that shoots super for me when I am locked in, days I am sloppy it shows.
Since I picked up an Answer my Pulse has taken a back seat.

I honestly would look for a 2013 Answer before I bought a Pulse.

My Pulse and Defy are both being sold and I am picking up an E32...

The 2014 E32 and E35 are the best bows I ever shot, and I been shooting for 27 years.

thanks for the input. my wife shoots 28-28.5ish. i prefer a 6" brace height to anything longer. i am bit of a speed junky. my wife is new to the sport and i figured the hunter would be very forgiving for her and easy to sell if it dosent pan out.

If your looking for a bit more speed you might consider an Answer with a set of 30" speed mods, they are a little stiffer up front but you get a lot out of them...probe wouldn't see much difference then a pulse at the same weight.

There been a bunch of 2013 Answers on eBay and also on AT, shouldn't be hard to find at all.

Yes, they are. Another great one that most don't mention with a transferable warranty is the the Obsession Bows. I shot one a few weeks ago and wow!. The new Obsession Evolution is sweet.

Are Elite bows worth the money both used and new? I've considered trying to find an Elite bow used and having new strings put on it and using it... Only problem is I'm so loyal to PSE since I've owned a Stinger HP for 3 years now.

IMO...yes they are. I'm a PSE guy...owned them for years. The Elites are VERY nice bows..with a transferable warranty.

Great to know that the warranty transfers over. I may have to go and look at a few Elite bows end of the week and try and shoot one.

With the Energy line just coming out you can find a great deal on a Hunter which is a fantastic hunting bow. I shot 10 deer, 2 bear and a moose with my hunter I'm hoping for the same success with my new E32

The only one ive shot is the elite pure wasnt very impressed by it cuz the size didnt feel right for a hunting bow but i do hear awsome stuff from them. My buddy shot hoyt for years and said he switched to elite cuz he thinks they shoot better so def hear good things just didnt like the elite pure.

Elite was my pick last year when I went new bow shopping. I ended up with an Answer and have fallen in love with the thing.

Was it a long brace height? I think the energy 32 is 7" correct? I wanna stay between 6-7" I like the feel and way they shoot better...that is just me though.

Thanks! I just now looked at the specs. Those are nice...just wish the BH was a little shorter. I bet its an awesome bow though.

It sweet, it feels like shorter E35 to me.
