Seen a older thread on here about them but nothing new so now that they been out for awhile what every one pro's and cons on them? going with this or a lone wolf climber or a summit viper eilite sd. the Xstand being first choice

Lone wolf is far and away quieter and much easier to attach to a tree. Cheaper is not always the best solution to your needs. I shot out of a lone wolf alpha climber now for 9 or 10 years and am extremely happy. The x stand is a pain to attach to a tree and is noisy when climbing. Visit the video from the 2013 ATA show. Pay close attention to the portion where the instructor attracts the stand to the tree. You almost need 3 hands. Also when he raises the stand on how noisy it is. No imagine its 45 minutes before shooting light and no wind. The aluminum sound would echo in the timber for ever. I considered looking into the X Stand but way to loud for me.
