Does the MP6 and red40 have the loops built in the back of the camera for a python cable? Pics appreciated! Thanks. (like the bushnell trail cameras?)
Pat which one is which in that photo? I just ordered a REd40 and can't wait for the thing! They look a lot smaller than I thought they'd be...awesome!
I got my covert blk60 last Monday and I've really tried to like this camera but I'm growing more and more disappointed. They have a bright red flashing light that activates when the camera is triggered and the deer are staring at it. So despite having a flash that they claim is invisible,(i cannot see it) deer still spook. Whatever you do, save your money and don't get the blk60.
Don't hate for trying :D I bet Pat will chime in because that seems odd that it's spooking deer like that. I've ran the cheap CA4.0 models on a property and have yet to get the prototypical lock step and bolt photos like you get on other cams from time to time.
This is not true the red light flashes 7-10 times after you turn it to on before it goes into picture mode but does not flash when triggered after that. If yours actually does this it needs to be replaced.
I just uploaded a bunch of pictures of deer staring at my camera but it won't let me post. it just redirects me to mathews.
Unless the camera clicks when triggered (which it should not) they should not pay it any attention unless there is a bad scent issue. But as far as the red light flashing this is simply not true.
Thanks for the quick response and pics! I may go with the mp6. still undecided. I have 2 bushnell trophy cams now.
Been saying this for years. also deer notice everything new at ground level and when it sticks like a human they will move around the cam if they have to.
There is some clicking but I have to be next to it to hear it. As far as scent, there should be none. I sprayed it, the strap and lock with scent killer. Is there an email or number I can call. The last doe I got pics of, came around the corner like she was headed through the gate near the cam and stopped dead in her tracks. 9 pictures of her bobbing her head around are followed by her turning and bolting. I have pictures of at least 4 other does and two fawns staring at it. I also have 3 pics of a fawn who I'm sure hears it, based on head and ear movement.
