I've owned two PSE and one Bowtech and can't imagine not shooting a Bowtech. Nothing wrong with PSE at all but the Bowtech seem much better made. It's in my opinion that they are smoother, quieter, and have much less hand shock. I also like the way they support the US Soldier... Picking a bow is like picking a woman just more important... You kinda gota decide for yourself... Good luck!
I have a bowtech Insanity CPX I love it shot it side by side with the PSE Dream Season EVO no comparison.
Ive always shot a PSE and more then likely always will. Yes i have shot other bow's. I currently shoot a EVO 7 and coudlnt be happier. Its all a matter of feel and prefrence.
Wasn't even apart of the ? You can't go wrong with a Bowtech. Esp the center pivot technology. The Invasion is an amazing hunting bow. If you need a little more speed look into the Insanity. I have a feeling at the ATA this year Bowtech will make a smoother shooting Invasion and fix their limb finish issues. Bowtechs just flat out shoot and are extremely forgiving. Shoot the PSE you like and make a comparison. If your on a budget look at the Assassin it comes RAK for $650. Can't beat the performance of that bow for the money.
I looked at and shot several other bows, including the bowtech, and my PSE Dream Season Evo chose me.
If you check out PSE, check out the new dream season DNA. It looks awesome. I talked to a local shop owner and he said it was an amazing shooter. Do check out mathews though, they are tanks and the draw cycle is the smoothest I've ever felt.
i ask because my dad asked if i would like a bowtech assassin or a pse xforce 2013 revenge for christmas. i dont know if i should stick with my hoyt or choose one. what should i do?
Please don't just choose the one you have I want honest opinions about which is best. Keep in mind this will be the bow I hunt with please don't screw me over
i have a 2011 invasion and shot my brother in laws 2012 mathews helium and wasn't impressed with the speed or the noise. both of our bows are set at 70# and both 29" draw. my bowtech was way quieter and much faster, at 40 yards you could definetely notice his arrow have an arc to it but mine flew much flatter, so again bowtech all the way, they actually put money into technology and not marketing like mathews...just saying
my brother did just buy a PSE bow madness xs and for the money that is a little shooter, fast and quiet and hardly any hand shock for the money
I can not answer your question. ONLY YOU can answer that. Go shoot both of them, even if you have to drive a ways and spend most of the day. Everyone has a different idea of best. I could not imagine buying a bow (or wasting my Dads money) on a bow I never shot. Go shoot them and find out. You may find you do not like either one. Better yet, go shoot every bow you can find within 75 miles of your house. Let the bow pick you. You may find one that YOU think is the one. The last time i bought a bow I shot 18 different models from 7 makers. Some I knew were not for me before I even shot it (I still did). Some I shot many times. Go to real bow shops. Ask about the bow companies warranty work, time to get it fixed, string quality, etc. My local shop quit selling a brand because their CS was bad. He could not get parts (cam) for a 4 year old bow, even though it had a "lifetime warranty". The model was discontinued so no warranty. On the opposite side of that Mathews has parts for every bow they every made still on hand. I am not saying buy a Mathews (unless it picks you) but know what you are getting before spending most of a grand. Good luck.
Exactly! This forum is a great way to uncover flaws you may not notice at first but in the end you gotta make your own choice.
Thats because Bowtech is the real deal with real innovation and Mathews is nothing but a name !!!!!!!!!
I did when I was looking for a new bow. I didnt care for the way it felt in my hand was to short ATA for me and I felt alot of vibration but thats just my thoughts on it.
