It finally got nice and I had been wanting to do this project for awhile so I decided to give it a go today. I went to the local farmer and he had some 15 gallon drums from milking. I went to Lowes and got the fittings and pipe I needed. The spayers are K Rain lawn pop up sprayers. I purchased a EverFlo 1.0 GPM pump off eBay for about $30. The control switch is the 12V harness at Tractor Supply. All total I spent about $50.

    Nice, whatever works.
I'd consider getting some proper black sprayer hose though from TSC, that clear poly will get brittle and crack in short order. Never a fun day to get back a mile off the road and turn the pump on only to get sprayed with chemical and no means of repair.

I thought about this but I am going to keep everything inside in the basement. Also our hunting ground is literally in our back yard. My main food plot that I will be spraying is only about 400 yards away.

Weather and sunlight isn't the problem though, that clear poly gets eaten up from chemical and surfactants. You still don't want to get sprayed from it, skin absorbs most chemicals pretty fast. Your health is easily worth the $10.

You may get this season out of it okay, just be aware of it and check it for cracks and kinks before use. Definitely check it over really close past this season. The black sprayer hose will last for years.

Your nozzles need to higher for better coverage. Taller weeds will be a problem too with your current setup
