I was wondering if when you make DIY scent away spray if I could use some scent free Laundry soap instead of just regular scent free soap.??

Never thought of using any soaps in a DIY scent away. I make my own cover spray here by taking dirt and leaves and twigs from the area that I'm hunting in, add water and boil it together. I then strain out all of the "chunkies" and use that as a cover spray/scent and have had very good luck with that.

The soap is to help the spray sink into your clothes to better rid it of scent.

There's recipes all over the Internet on how to make it.I have made some myself and it works great except once it dries there's a little bit of white powder(from the baking soda).

    Ingredients for Scent Killer:

16 oz. (2 cups) Peroxide ( yes, I use the brown bottled stuff)

16 oz. (2 cups) Distilled Water or water from a dehumidifier

    ¼ cup baking soda

1 oz. On non-scented shampoo (I use Hunters Specialties green shampoo)
(Or adjust amounts to whatever size you make accordingly)

Let sit for several days (1 gallon milk jug works good with lid loose) This recipe is also good for removing blood from your hands in the field after dressing your critter! No dried blood, presents a better image!
