im interested to see what others have used and reccomend. I couldnt find anything about the strength of it...my bow shoots 330 fps
If your bow shoots 330FPS with your set up and not the rated speeds of a noodle weight arrow and maxed lbs I'm extremely impressed! What's your set up DL, LB pull, arrow build?
I'd look for somebody trying to get rid of an old trampoline, cut it in 1/2 and with the frame you could have two backstops around 14' in diameter. Or you could buy a replacement mat from Amazon for around $60 but would need to make your own frame for it.
I got a big *** box that a display came in from Walgreens and filled it with plastic and matted it down good. Got the plastic from a Pepsi driver I would see daily. He would save me the plastic wrap that came off pallets. Didn't cost me anything except a few hours work. Arrows go in maybe 6-8 inches. Easy to pull out. Works well for me.
Inquiring minds. Mine's rated at 321 but when it's all said and done I average about 264 with the occasional 270 (chrono error?). That's shooting 29" arrows with a 65# dw. I haven't found hay bales around here, just pine straw, and those don't stop anything. So I try not to miss. I'd like to see that net in action.
