Here's how I made a side bar and mount.

For the bar I used 1/2 inch electrical conduit.
The end caps are the brass of a 12 gauge shell.
And the mount is angle iron.

I first cut a 8 inch piece of conduit. Then I cut the plastic part of the 12 gauge shell and drilled holes in them.

After that I put the bolt through the brass end from the inside out. Before glueing the end caps on I filled the rod with sand to give it some weight. Then I glued the ends onto the conduit. ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1461017315.261245.jpg

After that I got down to making the mount. This was done by getting two 1 inch pieces of angle iron and drilling a small hole and bolting them together.
After that I had to grind a corner of the one piece to allow it to rotate. ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1461017545.186035.jpg

With the mount and bar both finished I bolted them together, this is from the bottom ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1461017688.860936.jpg

The second hole is for the stabilizer to go through.

Then I put it onto the bow and here's the finished product. ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1461017850.105266.jpg
I'll probably paint it to match my other diy stabilizer ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1461017913.887780.jpg
