    You will need:
    Baking soda/activated charcoal powder
    Coffee filters
    Tape

Take the coffee filters and fill it with 1/4 cup of baking soda or the activated charcoal. Fold the ends of the filters so the top is sealed. Then tape the top.

I take these and place them in my pack and clothing storage containers.

Tell me what you think. :)

Sounds very interesting. May have to try it when I store my gear soon

Why not just wash the clothes before you wear them next season?

I do wash the clothing before season, but I like to stick this in with my clothing after a hunt to help absorb any "outside" odors I may have picked up.

Seems logical. Also when you wash the clothes try added baking soda to the wash too. From my experience it makes a difference.

I don't even use scent free detergent. Just wash my clothes with baking soda. Have had mature does come from directly down wind up a hill eye level with my stand and not wind me.

If you have a Vaccuum sealer like you use to pack meat you can use the Gallon size roll bagging material and seal your clothes in with the packet and ensure total protection from external smells then just don't open til next season first day out. I use mine after i wash mine at the end of season and also during season when i apply cover scent just have to make sure they are dry so you dont get mildew.

Another cover scent storage option is a real Cedar Chest.

Thats a good Idea on making your own absorbant pouches i 'm going to try it this year.

Do you replace it at all during the season?

Sounds like a great idea. I get the knee high stockings at Walmart and use the activated charcoal found in the aquarium area. Put some in the socks and throw them in with my clothes.
