Basically yes, it's a single patch of woods surrounded by residential homes. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Sorta takes the fun out of it. I could shoot deer from my back porch but don't want to spook them. Of course my wifes garden pays the price.
My best blind is about 100 yards behind my house. Our place borders a 1000 acre game land, so we've always got deer around even though I rarely see them unless I'm out on the back side of the hill or in the blind. We have very few neighbors, none closer than a 1/4 mile or so.
I am just south of D.C. Most of my setup is with in sight and all between 75/200 yards of homes on my property. Best stand I have is 60 yards from a pinch between two houses. Est wind setup blows my scent towards the homes lol
Urban areas usually produce pretty good animals. You just have to pick your shots, the last thing you want is a blood trailing job that leads you into someone's backyard after dark. Dragging a buck out from under a kid's swing set doesn't make for good press.
