Time to get more Arrows/Bolts. I have always used Easton 2219 Mags. Very Accurate. I shoot FMJ's in my compound. An excellent arrow, indeed! Though pricy they are a good arrow. Not a follower of all carbon arrows (Yea. I hear you booing and hissing) I just would like to get some feed back on FMJ's for the x-bow... Looking to cut down on arrow weight, just a bit. Thanks, J.
I've built at least 10 sets of Black Eagle Zombie slayers for friends shooting crossbows and every single person loves them they are tuff hit like a freight train look cool not budget breaking Dan
What does the number stand for that is stamped on the arrows? My aluminum arrows have 2219 and have seen others talking about that same number of different make arrows.
In aluminum shafts the number 2219 means the outside diameter is 22/64 th of an inch (0.34375) and the 19 means the wall thickness (stiffness) is 0.019 in. thick. Clear as mud?
Thanks. That makes sense. I thought it had something to do with the construction of the arrow, weight or something. Now I know. I guess a .300 brass insert would work in them but would have to be cleaned out good.
Anyone have or know where I can find the ID of the Carbon Express model 52105 Crossbolt? Want to replace the plastic insert with brass to increase the FOC. Found nothing on their web site.
Black eagle executioners work for me. I buy bare shafts and fletch them up with blazer vanes. Out of my two excaliburs they shoot lights out up to 60 yards.
i like parker arrows/ I use parker crossbow a well. but the arrows have the "capture nock" feature which I really like, definitely worth looking into about 40 for 8 at my local bass pro
I have found that the eastern bloodlines fly very well from my Barnett predator at 375 ft./s with 100 grain tips. I like you am a big fmj fan. Try the bloodlines I'm sure you will find them a great fit.
